Pastor William E. Judd, born in 1952, was called to the ministry at 24 and delivered his first sermon in 1976. He married Deborah Grace Stovall in 2019, creating a blended family of eight children, 17 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Pastor Judd began his pastoral ministry in 1976 at the Rose Hill A.M.E. Zion Church, serving for 27 years and leaving a lasting impact. He also led three other A.M.E. Zion churches: Ebenezer in Apex, NC, Jordan Grove in Siler City, NC, and Grace in Raleigh, NC.
In 1995, Pastor Judd founded Judd Ministries Inc. (JMI), a nondenominational ministry guided by Isaiah 61:1-3 and directly accountable to God. JMI became independent in 2003, separating from the A.M.E. Zion Church.
In 2022, Pastor Judd was led to Tennessee to start a second church. He began holding services in his home in 2023 with his wife, Minister Deborah Grace Stovall Judd, and has grown the congregation to 10 active members. Services are now held on the 2nd through 5th Sundays at the Queen City Masonic Lodge 761 in Clarksville, TN.
Associate Pastor Les Thompson, affectionately known as “Uncle Les” to many young people, accepted his call to the ministry and delivered his first sermon on September 17, 1995. He received his ordination on July 17, 2005, solidifying his commitment to serving God. He, along with his wife Kwanya and daughter Ariana, reside in Raleigh, NC, where he dedicates himself to mentoring and advocating for youth. As a respected mentor and advocate, he actively engages in the community, using his experiences and faith to guide the next generation.
I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1987 with a degree in Physical Therapy. In 1996, I felt called by God to ministry and delivered my first sermon on October 13, 1996, entitled “To Be or Not To Be Holy – That Is The Question” (Matthew 25:1-11). I have been a part of Judd Ministries since its founding in 1995, serving in various roles, including Christian education director, Christian choir director, and currently, as an Associate Pastor
Born in 1964, I grew up with a deep faith, attending church from a young age. After raising four children and welcoming seven grandchildren, I joined Judd Ministries in 2017 and met my husband, Apostle William E. Judd, who became my spiritual guide. In 2020, I answered the call to ministry and delivered my first sermon in February 2021. We moved to Tennessee to establish JMI Tennessee, where I serve as Associate Pastor under the leadership of Overseer Judd. God’s plan has unfolded beautifully, leading me to this fulfilling path.
